Hello,
The Hide holds a special place in my heart as it is where my husband and I started our honeymoon in Zimbabwe. He is originally from Zim but hadn’t been back in almost 16 years and so not only was this a trip that was so special to us because of our marriage but it was a sort of a homecoming for him as we reunited with so many family members on this trip and the Hide just started our journey.
I had never been to Africa let alone a safari camp but my favorite animals are elephants. I am so intrigued by their strength and grace and just how powerful they are and I was able to witness some amazing encounters of them at the Hide. I will never forget when we were picked up by Ngosi (our amazing guide), he took us on a short drive while we waited on another couple that was staying the same time we were and we happened to stumble across an elephant. I almost jumped out of the car I was so excited and he calmly looked back at me and said “If you like that one, you are going to love staying at the Hide” and boy was he right.
The game drives and see the animals were truly amazing but more so than anything the people, service and kindness we experienced while at the Hide was indescribable. We would go back in a heartbeat and I would recommend the Hide to any and everyone I know.
Thank you #theHide for making my honeymoon and homecoming for my husband so unforgettable and being a part of a life changing time in our lives.
