Delayed By A Bull Elephant

I was there with my sister Heather and her friend from 11 to 13 June 2015.

We were delayed by a bull elephant in the National Park on the way to the Hide and were very fortunate the next morning to see a wild dog and then Cecil running across the clearing, so we jumped in the Toyota to see Cecil coming down the road.  We tracked them down again a couple of days later. Unfortunately, this was just before Cecil was killed.  We got to see lots of other fascinating birds and game including sable antelope at The Hide. Great memories, I hope to return one day.
