The Dove’s Nest is a complimentary sleep out option, which can be booked in advance, (depending on availability), as part of your stay with The Hide (3 nights or longer). It’s a wildly romantic hideaway on high, a treehouse overlooking the plain, a private retreat and popular escape. Spend a night away from it all. Perfect for honeymoons or special occasions and anniversaries.

The Dove’s Nest provides you with a romantic African fairytale setting, where you can sleep out in the wild and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the bush.

With just the stars, moon and occasional call of the wild to keep you company, you are in for a treat. After your afternoon game drive, you will be taken to The Dove’s Nest, where, on arrival, you will be given a safety briefing, supplied with a radio for your peace of mind and left to enjoy a private dinner and drinks on the lookout platform before retiring to your bedroom retreat.

Your guide will arrive early in the morning and drive you back to camp for breakfast, where we look forward to hearing about your adventurous night in the bush.

There’s more to The Hide than the original main camp. We’ve grown to accommodate families and small groups with the exclusive use, villa-style Tom’s Little Hide and there’s also The Private Hide.

    If you’re looking for a more intimate safari, then the Private Hide offers the perfect setting for couples and individual groups, accommodating up to eight people. It comes complete with a private dining and lounge area, private pool with sun loungers and deck.
